Hello again!
I was looking through our website and found that we haven’t updated the blog since last year! Its shocking to realize that June is nearly here. When we first moved into our new studio we wondered what we would do with all of our newfound, glorious space… and now we’re wondering where to stash that next piece of furniture until it ships out. I guess that’s a good thing.
Well let’s see, over the course of the past year we’ve hired our first employee, purchased some new equipment, released 7 new pieces, one new color, and won two awards… which I suppose explains the absense of blog posts. Its been a crazy year.
Currently I’m working on a few new finishes including transparent stain versions of all of our standard colors as well as a new set of traditional furniture finishes which will probably be available in Oak and Birch. I’m also working on a new piece called “Together We Can”. It is a stacked piece similar in spirit to Stacked No.1… so look for pictures in the next month or so.
Anyway, until next time…
~Vincent~

Hi,
I just found your website through the Freshome blog which I visit regularly.
The pieces of furniture – I think I can call them works of art – are quite harmonious and make one smile. And when a work of art makes us smile, then it must be good.
Kind regards,
José

I also just discovered your website and I’m so impressed with your artistic flair. As I mentioned in my email, it has that “Alice falling down the rabbit hole” feel to it. They’re just such fun & unique pieces and I’ve never seen anything like them. Someday I’d love to own a Squint sofa or Egg chair & ottoman and your line would go perfectly with it! Ah, yes…that will be when I win the lottery!
I’ll make sure to write about your line to encourage others to check it out as well! Congratulations on the well deserved awards.

I saw your furniture for the first time at the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago and fell in love with it. It’s so whimsical and wonderful that I just had to share it on my blog:

Keep up the great work! And if your at Renegade next year, I hope there will be better weather.

What fun – you are new to us. Will you be at summer Buyers Market in Philadelphia ? Have you ever requested photos from your customers that show your pieces in place in their homes/office? You should try to get a bit in American Style magazine about your line since it is so functional AND fun. Best wishes.

HEY!!! ((I know it’s pretty longand I’m sorry for that…but plz plz read it all =] ))I LOVE your work so so much, when I look at it fills me up with joy and happiness. Its like they have joy in themselves and are dancing! I really like your work, soon I will buy some of your products. I just wish there was a store here in New York (and nyc) like in the bronx or even downtown somewhere, where we can go and physically see all your work and its beauty.(That’s an idea if you are looking for new locations to sell your products, I’m sure many MANY people will spread the word of that store and your items and they’ll like it too)
I don’t remember exactly how I found out about your work, but I do know that I was on myspace (yes myspace ^_^) and i clicked on a friends page, then I clicked on these little graphics that I saw on her page and the website for the graphics showed up. But..I think another window popped up..(either that happened when i clicked the graphics page or maybe it was another page) the other window that popped up was called “Kaboodle” and the first page it said “weird and interesting products on kaboodle!” and 2 of ur pieces were there… (on a count down type of thing)
omg I fell in LOVE with them!!! My boyfriend was checking out the prices and we found so much more of them!
I have a few questions about them but I will ask in an email.
….=[ Im so upset that the “Stacked Cabinet No.4/The Acrobats” is limited….. I don’t have the money for it now and I really really want it and I think you guys are going to run out of them really fast… its one of my favorites…
So I don’t really know what to do, but I guess I’ll talk about that in the email =p.
well.. I’ll talk to you later now ..thanks for reading my really long message (and I’m really sorry for that) and Good Luck and GREAT, BEAUTIFUL, CREATIVE, JOYFUL (and all the positive words out there) WORK!!!!! great website layout everything! Good Luck on the Dust Company!

Hello Vincent Leman! I’m back, =p I had read one of your blog entries (“Let’s Hear It .. I know I’m really late in reading those entries but I just found out about you and this website! =D)) and it said that you wanted us to give you feed back and what we’d like to see…
-I think your products are great!-
I know you have cabinets.. (and those are really cool by the way) but here’s a new idea.. how about drawers.. you know, to put cloths in it? =] I think the cabinets are more useful for a few cloths in some of them and magazines and lamps, but I think you should have drawers for cloths too!=p just an idea
AND….
I was wondering have you ever thought of designing… computer desks!!!!?!! That would be really cool and convenient!! (makes me happy thinking of it lol) I would buy one of those.. and put it in my bedroom. I’m interested on how you would design them!! I think that other people would like that too.. if they need a place to do their homework or any type of work and even have their computer there of course… I think thats a great idea..
well hope you look into that, or think about it.. just an idea!
thanks for reading! talk to you later! =D
